"He woke me up... Didn't have to do it... He woke me up... I'm so glad He did it!"

So just so you know I won't be updating picture while I'm here. At least for now because I don't know how I will be doing that because I'm pretty sure that there isn't a way for me to upload pictures unless it magically appears on the campgrounds or something.

So I've been in PA for about a week now. Nothing to crazy has changed. We have done a lot of cleaning and getting camp ready for the kids. All day on Thursday we did CPR and AED training. This lasted from like 9am to about 6 or 7 pm. It was absolutely crazy. We learned so much in those hours... I mailed three cards out I think yesterday so if you are one of those three lucky people watch out in your mail box... honestly I'm not sure if one of them actually reads this, but I could be wrong. But I might write a couple more either tonight or tomorrow, but I might wait until we do mock camp this week.

Some really cool things have been happening around here though. The other day I was walking down to the staff lounge to see if anyone was in here and were I needed to be helping out and I walked by two of the guy counselors were sitting on the side of the road just praying with one another... It was so encouraging. I didn't put this on my internship thing in so many words, but I really want to get better this summer about just asking people to pray with them. Just sitting down with another counselor and saying "Hey can I pray for you right now?" And I want to take that back to school with me too. I really am hoping that I get a lot out of this internship and I think I will.

Another cool thing happened the other night. I have to back up a little bit before I tell this story. When I first saw pictures of this place and thought it was really pretty and cool and a nice place to live for the summer, but then I got here and it wasn't what I was expecting. Not that I expected that much, but I just wasn't feeling it as much. It made me long for Montreat even more. The other night we had a bunch of the staff just hanging out outside of the place we eat and we were just singing and goofing around and then it turned into more than that. The next thing you know we are all singing worship songs and praising Jesus. This lasted for like an hour or more, it was amazing. The next morning I woke up and this place looked different to me. I don't know if it because I was getting use to it, but I think it just had to do with God giving me a new perspective. However, I still long for Montreat right about now. Last night we watched a movie on the lawn and it just made me think of Montreat and how much I wish I was there. I miss my friends that are there and the kids that I work with.

We had are first day off today and I really feel like sleeping right now so I will tell you about it at some other time... maybe. But it was a fun day!
